    Synopsis :
     
     
    Tous ceux qui se retrouvent dans le monde d'Angel Beats sont morts. C'est notamment le cas de Hinata, une jeune homme qui y a été envoyé après un violent accident.
    Dans ce monde, il va faire la connaissance de Yuri, mais aussi de Ooyama, son colocataires. Tous deux sont morts également, et ont connus un passé peu enviable. Yuri tout particulièrement.
    De ce fait, elle dit détester le "dieu" qui lui a fait subir tout ça, et veut s'en venger.
    Peu à peu, le petit groupe va évoluer, jusqu'à former le fameux SSS (ou Front de la Guerre de l’Après-Vie).

    Les aventures contées dans le manga se passent avant les événements de l'anime.
